Bhaskar was born on 11 th Feb, 1930 in Madras was a dancer and he was the principal of Madras School of Arts. His father was Devi Prasad Roy Chowdhury (a painter/ Sculptor). He learned Kathak, Kathakali, Manipuri, and Bharatnatyam. He moved to New York and started a dance company named Bhaskar Dance Company. He was remembered for the horror flick Charles-Manson and Drink your Blood. Later he became a painter and became successful. He died on 4 th Aug, 2003. He went paralyzed as he fell from stage and remains in wheelchair for the rest of his life.
